Funky Retro Tulip Dining Chair - Eero Saarinen
The Funky Retro Tulip Dining Chair is made with a rigid white seat shell sat on a slender central leg with round pedestal enhanced by loose upholstered foam cushion in contrasting red colour for better comfort. Eero Saarinen participated in a competition for Organic design in the home furnishing collection announced in the 1940s by M.O.M.A. in which he developed the Tulip Chair as part of his research of Organic Furniture. The now famous Tulip Chair, the corresponding Pedestal Table and other furniture he developed represent the peak of Eero Saarinen's career and will certainly bring a stylish look and contemporary feel to any kitchen or dining room.
